After School & Summer Camp Center Serving Houston & Pasadena, TX

about ct kids

Founded in 2013 by Professor James Wadley, our centers are more than martial arts centers—it’s a passion project born from a lifelong dedication to martial arts and a commitment to community service. Inspired by his own journey since the age of 5, Professor Wadley envisioned a place in Houston where people of all ages could experience the transformative benefits of martial arts.

Our centers are family-owned and operated. Master James Wadley, a 4th-degree Judo Black Belt, 6th-degree Taekwondo Black Belt, and 2nd-degree Jiu-Jitsu Black Belt, brings extensive martial arts experience and serves as a Childcare Director. Mrs. Teresita Wadley, also a Childcare Director and multilingual entrepreneur, supports the center’s operations and educational programs.

Our vision is to empower the youth of America through our after school program, fostering partnerships with parents to help them achieve their children’s goals. We are dedicated to combating childhood obesity, promoting mental health, and addressing bullying by providing a safe, supportive environment with our newest additions with the CT4 Kids name, in tandem with Grappling Zone.

Discover the transformative power of martial arts and join our community-focused journey at Grappling Zone and CT4 Kids. Whether your goal for your child is fitness, discipline, or personal growth, we’re dedicated to helping them succeed.

Leadership At The Heart Of Everything We Do

Master James Wadley and Mrs. Teresita Wadley are actively involved in the center, ensuring hands-on management and customer-oriented service. Their combined martial arts and childcare leadership expertise enriches our programs, providing a nurturing environment where children thrive both on and off the mat.
